About us
We look forward to welcoming you to 'Glampio Cowin,' located on our family farm near the small village of Blaenycoed, some 8 miles north of Carmarthen and south of Newcastle Emlyn. Our peaceful location is ideal for a relaxing holiday, taking in the beautiful Carmarthenshire scenery or walking some country lanes and paths, but we are also within easy driving distance of the many attractions of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.

Our 70 acre farm is a haven for wildlife and birds and you can enjoy the delightful sound of the dawn chorus from your tent. Experience life on a Welsh farm, with sheep and lambs in the fields and fresh-laid eggs for your breakfast! Our aim is to establish a haven from the clamour of everyday life.

Facilities
Pitches
Each 12 x 12m pitch offers a camp fire so that you can enjoy that authentic camping experience and accompanying grill to cook your food in the open air. Each pitch also offers a picnic table where you can enjoy the views while eating. For your convenience and privacy, each pitch has its own toilet facility.

Covered shelter
The shelter is home to a fridge and freezer as well as a washing up area and seating where you can enjoy a cup of tea and a chat. Plan your day's activities or put the world to rights!

Showers
The covered area is also home to the shower block. Shower facilities and toilets will be deep-cleaned before your arrival. We will not enter these facilities during your stay but cleaning materials will be provided.

We ask for your cooperation in maintaining social distancing measures throughout your stay, wish especial regard to the covered shelter and washing-up area.

Pizza oven
We will light the pizza oven once a week and you are welcome to use it to prepare your own pizzas. You will have the option of buying pizza dough here, but will need to provide your own toppings.

Glamping
Both glamping tents have wood-burning stoves and firewood for use with these stoves is included in the cost of your holiday. This represents and additional cost to us and we would be grateful if you could use firewood considerately and do not leave the stove unattended if lit.
​
For 2022, we have added a shelter containing a sink, a gas hob and room for one of our picnic benches to each Glamping pitch and hope this makes your stay with us even more enjoyable.
